Our Product Priorities

1) Educators: Supporting the hardest-working teachers in our system.

At the heart of MaMu is a teacher-facing platform that lets educators modify materials based on student learning profiles—quickly and meaningfully. With just a few clicks, teachers can adapt a worksheet, lesson plan, or assessment to meet the cultural, linguistic, cognitive, special education, and emotional needs of each learner.

But we don’t stop at modification. MaMu creates feedback loops with students, capturing their preferences, access points, and learning experiences—turning student voice into actionable insight for teachers. Less burnout. More clarity. More connection and focus on delivering content rather than creating it.

2) Families: Making advocacy possible—regardless of language, literacy, or time.

MaMu simplifies the special education process for families through a multilingual, WhatsApp-based chatbot that breaks down IEPs, acronyms, and strategies in plain language or voice memos. It’s about access, where families already are.

Families also gain visibility into their child’s goals, strengths, and classroom preferences in their native language in the MaMu portal, so they can be partners in learning, not just passive recipients of documents they can’t decode.

3) Students: Giving power and personalization to those who need it most.

Students using MaMu can view their IEP goals, give input on what works for them, and shape the way they learn. This is about more than compliance—it’s about ownership. Every student deserves to feel seen, capable, and brilliant—and MaMu gives them a role in their own learning journey.
